Management units
- The management unit is defined as a sub-part of a portfolio to which a single asset class will be assigned
- Each management unit has its own cash accounts, which themselves are part of the portfolio’s current accounts
- This organization of the portfolio into management units allows among other things :
- to measure the performance of each asset class linked to a management unit
- to perform a strategic asset allocation based on the amounts allocated to each management unit
- to perform a tactical asset allocation based on the cash balances of the management units
